What resolution do I get?

Every poster is rendered at print resolution for the size you choose — up to 300 DPI at 24×36 in — so text and fine map lines stay crisp, not a low-res image stretched to fit.

Can I get it framed?

Yes — framed prints are available at checkout for the sizes we stock. Frames ship pre-assembled with your print already mounted; unframed prints roll flat for shipping.

Can I add custom text?

Yes. Every poster supports a title line (a place name, a couple's names, a date) and an optional subtitle — coordinates, a short quote, or anything you'd like. What you type is exactly what prints, so double-check spelling before you order.

Where does the map data come from?

Street, park, and water geometry come from OpenStreetMap contributors via vector tiles. We don't edit the underlying data — if a street is missing or misnamed on your poster, it's missing on OpenStreetMap too, and fixing it there fixes it for future orders as well.

How accurate is the star map?

Star and constellation positions are computed from real astronomical data for the exact latitude, longitude, date, and time you specify — not a generic star field. The sky you get is the sky that was actually overhead at that place and moment.

What does the date and time mean on a star map?

It's the moment the sky is calculated for — typically something meaningful to you, like a birth, a wedding, or a first date. Local time zone is handled automatically from the location you enter, so you just pick the date and clock time as you remember it.

How much does shipping cost?

Nothing within the US. Shipping is included in the price of every print and framed print.

Do you ship internationally?

Prints currently ship within the United States only. Digital downloads have no shipping restriction — anyone, anywhere, can buy and download one instantly.

Can I cancel or change my order?

Digital orders generate immediately, so changes aren't possible once checkout completes — review your preview carefully first. Print orders can be changed or canceled before we send them to production; contact us as soon as possible and we'll do what we can.
